by making your novels available only on Amazon/Kindle, you are effectively allowing them to be held hostage for months before the novels are released and available on other websites and for non-US readers. There is no way you are making more profit or achieving a wider readership base by this method.

Yours sincerely,

A Disgruntled Reader

I was watching the US election results with a friend this morning and we were both shocked and dismayed at the results. America still has a loooong way to go before preaching about equality and civil rights to others considering the man they elected to be their new president. With an (in)famous reality TV star as president and the senate firmly under Republican control, it'll be a miracle if world war three doesn't start. After all, American politics are never merely American. *winces*

This picture sums up my feelings very well:

No offence to any UK citizens here but I couldn't help but laugh when I read the following location names:

Dicks Mount in Suffolk
Happy Bottom in Dorset
Lacock in Wiltshire
Butts Wynd in St Andrews
Tarts Hill in Wales

Oh my god! XD

This is the kind of irresponsible behaviour that gives journalists a bad name: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-37058787

Homosexuality is illegal in more than half the world's countries. Mere suspicion is enough to have someone, usually an innocent person, killed and the perpetrators wouldn't even be punished and to do this to athletes competing in the most watched event in the world guarantees maximum exposure and risk. Journalism in this century seems increasingly without ethics. I hope this person is fired from their job at the very least.

So my Tumblr exploded this morning when I logged in and I tried to figure out what had happened. Apparently the new Marvel Captain America comic has Steve Rogers as a deep cover, highly placed Hydra operative......

*cue crickets chirping*

This is so strange and illogical that it sounds like a gimmick to increase comic book sales. I mean, really guys? I'm looking at you, writers at Marvel. On which planet are we supposed to believe this? Like one commentator said, it's akin to Bruce Wayne hiring thugs to kill his parents. It's absurd.

I wish Batman VS Superman would be released already in theatres. It's annoying how many ads, TV spots, international trailers, etc, etc. that have almost shown it in its entirety! Especially the trailer that reveals all the big moments from the film. I'm sick of this film even though I had planned to go see it^^
